I enjoy my little Kodak EasyShare DX6490, it is just that, easy & weathers rough treatment very well ! I LOVE digital photography ! I enjoy processing my own prints. I am sad my mother did not live long enough to experience this. She was a wonderful photograher & home movie artist. She recorded so many stair steps of life. The pic

above was taken off her home movie of me with my father .

I also work with a Canon Rebel XTi when I want to get a really fine PEOPLE image !

I am drawn to People Photography, as We Are Unique, each one, and we are so

temporary, in that we change from year to year, so like my mother I like to capture

people, in hopes of making and sharing 'happy memories'

I'am retired and picked up photography again in 2004.

My first shots were with my dad's Zeiss made in 1935!

Then I had a Yashica and upgraded to a Konica Minolta with a 50 mm and 135 mm lens.

When my son started graphical studies he used the camera and made some fine B&W pics.His darkroom was in the basement(not too much stray light)

Unfortunately the camera and lenses were stolen in France in the Ardeche)

Being too busy I decided not to buy a new camera.

My son is a Mac-user and when he sold some hardware to a photographer I was curious about digital photography.Then I discovered how pics where published on Pbase.

The start of a great adventure,first with that very good Panny FZ-20 now with the fabulous Nikon D700.

Hi, I'm a retired free spirit, married, and bi coastal snowbird. My hobbies are golf and photography. I shoot with a Nikon D7000 and constantly strive to improve and learn my crafts better. I have the best of both worlds living in NW Montana near Glacier National Park and also on the Gulf Coast of Florida part time. I love the outdoors and nature.

I'm not sure what I can do as a member of this site but respect Vern for quite a few years now. We share a love of photography and have worked our way up through several cameras together. He's been a great source of advice and information.
