FOTABUG FOTOS

About Me

I'am retired and picked up photography again in 2004.

My first shots were with my dad's Zeiss made in 1935!

Then I had a Yashica and upgraded to a Konica Minolta with a 50 mm and 135 mm lens.

When my son started graphical studies he used the camera and made some fine B&W pics. His darkroom was in the basement(not too much stray light)

Unfortunately the camera and lenses were stolen in France in the Ardeche)

Being too busy I decided not to buy a new camera.

My son is a Mac-user and when  he sold some hardware to a photographer I was curious about digital photography. Then I discovered how pics where published on Pbase.

The start of a great adventure, first with that very good Panny FZ-20 now with the fabulous Nikon D700.

You are doing some wonderful work with the D700, Ed. I still want to get an f/2.8 zoom too, just not sure what I wll get yet. I could get a few great buys on used lenses. I like the results you are getting with your Tamron 28-75.
Photography Should Be Fun!
